The word szíve means someone’s heart. The word rejtek refers to a sanctuary, a refuge, a hiding place. A secret or concealed spot. So, Szíve Rejteke means “the hiding place of the heart,” implying a secret, sacred, and protected emotional space. A prayer for those who do their work in silence, yet still fly far.
A Closer Gaze – Exploring the Fine Details
SHIPPING:
I unwrap the canvas from the frame, carefully roll the artwork in protective materials, and place it in a custom-sized protective tube. This is the safest and most affordable way to send canvases worldwide. I recommend letting the artwork be framed or stretched by a professional framer. All parcels are insured during delivery. Shipping prices are based on weight, size, and UV light add-on options, added in the checkout page.
The other option is to package the gallery-wrapped artwork in a custom-made wooden box; however, the price for such shipments depends on your location. For questions, please contact glow@bogifabian.com.
The price does not include taxes and customs, which may apply during the importation to your country.
To guarantee the authenticity and value of these artworks, each canvas is accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, personally signed by Bogi Fabian herself. This certificate serves as a testament to the genuine craftsmanship of the piece, allowing collectors to feel confident in their investment and cherish the undeniable artistry within their homes. Each artwork in this collection is also signed and numbered.
LIGHTING:
Bring every detail of my artworks to full brilliance with a complete UV light set. You can pair your purchase with a UV lamp from my add-on selection to fully reveal the hidden layers and glowing intricacies. Both sets include a slim UV tube, case, socket, and cable. The tube produces 365–366 nanometer ultraviolet light, ideal for a minimalist-designed space, with a built-in starter and effortless installation. The built-in starter and effortless plug-in design make it easy to highlight every element of these creations.
Just plug it in. It meets European standards, but it can also be easily installed with a small converter, which most of our clients have successfully done in the United States and Canada. The lamp is suitable for installation by an electrician at a specific angle in any part of a room where a power outlet is available. Read more & see options here.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Multiluminism is an art technique based on decade-long research and development of paints, colors, techniques, and philosophy that incorporates various glow-in-the-dark techniques such as photo-luminescent, fluorescence, and phosphorescence - showing different colors in natural and ultraviolet light and emitting its glow in the dark. Daylight appearance can show up as any ‘traditional’ depiction. It can be completely transparent - concealing the underlying imagery under normal light conditions, while the fluorescence effects show up in the presence of an ultraviolet light source, the phosphorescent ones appear in complete darkness, most dominantly.
Night Glow effect:
Used materials do not immediately re-emit the radiation they absorb. After absorbing visible sunlight and UV-A 365 nm light, they can glow for several hours in the dark. All prints are rechargeable with any light source. The only exception is LED because it is not strong enough. These materials are completely safe and non-radioactive.
By using a UV light source, you can enjoy the glowing version as long as you want.
UV effect:
Used materials can absorb non-visible Light at UV-A, UV-B, or UV-C regions and emit visible light in the whole range of the visible spectra. In normal daylight conditions, the fluorescent materials are virtually invisible. However, on exposure to UV-A (365nm, black light), UV-B (300 nm), or UV-C (254 nm), the unique fluorescence color becomes visible. These materials are completely safe and non-radioactive.
